Opps missed the drive in one! Nice beach scene. I can remember seeing the planet of the apes at our local drive in. and I even watched "the graduate" by hiding in the bushes outside the drive. I was too young to go to that movie at that time. Hope life is good Six
All I can do is sustain everyone's compliments - Excellent!
I am sad to have missed the drive in theater post as there are still drive ins out here in Southern California and it also reminded me of the Flaming Lips CD called "Zureeka".

Interestingly, Prank, that little guitar instrumental was the catalyst for my words taking shape into a poem.
My boyz Sean and James set aside their hard core rocker edge for a moment and did this pretty duet together. I thought it sounded like a glittering sunset over the ocean as I listened to it yesterday, and the poem wrote itself. :) -Six
Thank you for the kid words, RE. I appreciate it! Poetry doesn't come as naturally to me as it does to some... but sometimes the moon and stars line up just right and I find a pretty decent combination of words.
Oh to have drive-ins near me still! I hope you have the chance to enjoy them where you are! :) -Six
Busman, it sounds like you have a very romantic heart behind the wheel over there! Nothing like a beautiful sunset... although here on the east coast, we have the most breathtaking sunrises. Provided you're up with the birds at the crack of dawn. Nice to see you, Terry. :) -Six
Wow, thank you Secret! Yesterday I was listening to that guitar song you heard on my post, and those chords in itself inspired my poem.
I was sitting in the parking lot at Petsmart while listening to that CD, and the first stanza flowed out of nowhere. The only thing I had to write it down on in my truck was the back of my "Rug Doctor" rental receipt, and so I wrote this poem. lol
I've written a few other poems in my "Strike A Chord" blog. Many were very sad, but the last few have been happier. Thank you for your kind thoughts! :) -Six
I am up early every morning, not saying I am a great morning person, however I have seen many moons setting or fadeing as the sun comes up. I could park the bus and watch both,

I might talk the hubby into a night stroll on the beach tomorrow. You have made me very sentimental with this one Sixx, beautiful worded feelings. The forever kind.

Hiya Six
I haven't been around for a while. I have just caught up with some of your blogs. I must say that you have a strength about you. Hope you are getting on ok. I know how old you are, I just had a look at your astro chart Six. Seems as though this year you will be extremely busy. Many things will come to fruition in one way or other. Only last month you started a very exciting and rewarding 3 to 3 year cycle.
Seems as though you might have a lot to say and teach. You will certainly end up in the lime light with some very compassionate and spiritual endeavours. You shine with self esteem and emapthic attunement.
Many Blogstream members are there
already! Quotes from members: "It's like blog lite!" -- "I like the instant

If you have not joined in, you are really missing out!

I believe that the muse who broke my heart has been purged with the sad poems. Time does heal all.
Thank you very much for the kind words. :) -Six

I hope you are well and smiling.
